Gfcf Banana Almond Cinnamon Breakfast Cereal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup bob’s red mill mighty tasty hot cereal
  • 3 1/4 cups water
  • 3 tablespoons blackstrap molasses
  • 2/3 cup sugar (less, if desired)
  • 20 raw almonds
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Start the water boiling on the stove.
  2. Put almonds in the grinder and grind into a powder, OR simply use 1/3 cup sliced almonds instead.
  3. Slice up the banana.
  4. Combine all ingredients except water/cereal in a mixing bowl and use a fork to smash and combine ingredients.
  5. Add 1 cup cereal to the boiling water, stir to incorporate, and then bring back to a boil. Cover and simmer on low heat for 10 minutes. Stir every once in a while.
  6. Add the smashed up deliciousness to the cereal and stir well.
  7. YUMMY!
