Apple or Rhubarb Crisp

Ingredients

  • 4 cup apples sliced
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 2 tbsp water
  • Crumble
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup gluten free flour
  • 1 3/4 cup gluten free oats

Instructions

  1. Grease baking dish, Mix crumble ingredients, spread 3/4 in bottom of dish. Mix 1st four ingredients and spread on top. Then put remaining crumble on top. Bank at 375 until apples are tender approx 35 mins.
  2. Rhubarb may also be substited for the apples and adding 1/4 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp ginger and omitting the lemon juice.
