Low Carb Flax Bread

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup of oil
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of artificial sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • 5 eggs beaten together well
  • 2 cups of flax seed meal

Instructions

  1. First preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix the Low Carb Bread Ingredients
  3. In a large bowl, pour the flax seed meal, the artificial sweetener, the salt, and the baking powder and mix well.
  4. Now we’ll add oil, the water and the eggs and mix those together well. Let this set for two to three minutes to thicken.
  5. Form the Low Carb Flax Bread
  6. Here I have silicon mat on a baking tray. You can use oiled parchment paper. And now we’ll pour the batter into the pan, once you have it all there, you can spread this out on your pan to whatever thickness you desire, but it should be at least a 1/2 inch think.
  7. Bake the Low Carb Bread
  8. We’ll put this into the oven at 350 degrees for about twenty minutes. And you can pull it out and you just want to push on the bread and if it bounces back a bit it is done. Finally let this cool for about twenty minutes, and then take a spatula or knife and cut the bread as you like.
