Chewy Fruit and Oatmeal Bars, Low Fat

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
  • 8 oz plain or vanilla yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 egg whites lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp skim milk
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine sugars, yogurt, egg whites, oil, milk and vanilla; mix well.
  3. In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well.
  4. Add to yogurt mixture; mix.
  5. Stir in oats and fruit.
  6. Spread dough onto bottom of ungreased 13x9 baking pain.
