Chewy Fruit and Oatmeal Bars, Low Fat
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup brown sugar firmly packed
- 8 oz plain or vanilla yogurt
- 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 tsp Baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup raisins or dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
- 2 egg whites lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp skim milk
- 1 1/2 cups Flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 3 cups quick cooking oats
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350F.
- In a large bowl, combine sugars, yogurt, egg whites, oil, milk and vanilla; mix well.
- In a medium bowl combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well.
- Add to yogurt mixture; mix.
- Stir in oats and fruit.
- Spread dough onto bottom of ungreased 13x9 baking pain.
